Responsibilities

• Assist the interdisciplinary team in maintaining a well‑supplied, safe inpatient unit that meets regulatory standards.
• Serve as the front-line representative of the unit to families and visitors, and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Support bed management, admissions, throughput, and unit flow to ensure timely patient care.
• Maintain unit cleanliness, readiness, and compliance with regulatory requirements including infection prevention and safety standards.
• Document patient status and unit activity using appropriate HIS systems.
