Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas or through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Basic Life Support required by American Heart Association.
• 9 months of professional nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting patient/family data per site protocol.
• Measure and document vital signs, height/weight, and visit reason.
• Prepare patient for examination per site protocol.
• Assist provider during treatments and testing as directed.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed by provider.
• Document medication and immunization administration.
• Provide patient/family education as instructed.
• Document education in the medical record.
• Coordinate referrals.
• Triages presenting patient complaints per site protocol.
• Verify provider orders and patient per site protocol.
• Collect and process specimens followingInstructions.
• Maintain service philosophies with patients and families.
