Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas or Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Currently enrolled in BSN or MSN bridge program may be acceptable.
• BLS certification required.
• 9 months of professional nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family data per site protocol.
• Document vital signs and reason for visit.
• Prepare patient for examination per site protocol.
• Assist provider during treatments and testing.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Document medication administration in medical record.
• Provide patient/family education as instructed.
• Coordinate referrals as needed.
• Triage patient complaints per site protocol.
