Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking an In-Patient Pharmacist to join our dedicated team in Milwaukee. The pharmacist will review orders, compound and dispense medications, and coordinate with technicians to ensure safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care for inpatients.

This role requires knowledge of medications, state laws, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and excellence in interdisciplinary collaboration. Wisconsin pharmacist license must be obtained within 90 days; hospital experience

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medications, laws, and storage/distribution requirements.
• Competent in sterile and non-sterile compounding.
• Analytical ability to troubleshoot pharmaceutical problems with providers.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for safety and appropriateness with interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate and supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide care during medical emergencies including Rapid Response Team, codes, and traumas.
