Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI seeks a Clinical Pharmacist - Pediatrics to deliver pediatric medication therapy management within an interdisciplinary inpatient team. You will participate in bedside emergencies, oversee medication selection, preparation, and documentation, and educate residents and students.

An ideal candidate has inpatient pediatric experience, board certification or pediatric residency training, and ASHP residency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• ASHP‑accredited residency training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive pediatric medication therapy management as part of an interdisciplinary inpatient care team.
• Participate in bedside medical emergencies with medication expertise.
• Teach and precept Pharmacy Residents and PharmD students.
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds, medication reconciliation, dosing, and education.
• Contribute to clinical practice guideline development and quality improvement activities.
