Texas Children's Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Inpatient Neurology Team. The role focuses on age-appropriate, family-centered neurologic care for pediatric patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualification includes a nursing degree (BSN/ADN or eligible for BSN bridge), Texas RN license or compact license, and BLS certification. Minimum 9 months of nursing experience is expected; pediatric/neurology exposure is preferred. Night shifts may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, associate's degree, or technical diploma in nursing with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program.
• 9 months nursing experience (minimum).
• RN license in Texas or Nurse Licensure Compact; BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient/family biophysical, psychosocial, developmental, cultural, spiritual, and environmental needs.
• Analyze status changes and adjust the care plan accordingly.
• Collaborate in rounds and with care teams; document in medical records.
• Educate patients and families; support learning needs.
• Administer and document medications and treatments timely.
• Participate in unit performance improvement initiatives.
