Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide professional nursing services across the Alaska Native Medical Center and affiliated programs. You will implement plans of care, perform assessments, and deliver high-quality nursing interventions in a culturally respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required with current Alaska RN license.
• Must maintain 30 hours of continuing education every two years, 16 in practice area.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to work with Alaska Native and American Indian populations respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services per individual care plans using the nursing process.
• Adhere to ANA Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
• Collaborate with peers in a Shared Governance nursing model.
• Deliver ethical, nonjudgmental care honoring patient autonomy and diversity.
• Coordinate with patient, family, and other providers for goals and care plan.
• Ensure safety, effectiveness, evidence-based care, and cost awareness.
• Deliver timely nursing care and perform assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of LPNs, NAs, and PSAs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
