UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Care Team Leader-Pediatric General Medical/Surgical for a 90% FTE role in a new 9-bed unit at American Family Children’s Hospital. You will lead nursing staff, mentor peers, and collaborate with an interprofessional team to care for infants through adolescents with diverse surgical and medical needs.

Requirements include a BSN preferred, 2 years inpatient RN experience, WI RN license, and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
• 2 years experience in an inpatient unit Required
• 3 years experience in an acute care inpatient unit Preferred
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in WI or compact state Required
• Current CPR/BLS certification Required
• National certification in relevant specialty Preferred

Responsabilités

• Lead nursing staff and collaborate with interprofessional team
• Motivate and mentor nurses to grow professionally
• Analyze and resolve problems outside the nurse clinician's domain
• Work with other departments to improve patient care
• Support unit operations and staffing with management
• Ensure adherence to clinical standards and safety protocols
