Job summary

UW Health's American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, seeks a Care Team Leader for the Pediatric General Medical/Surgical unit. This 9-bed unit cares for infants through adolescents with diverse surgical and medical needs.

You will motivate and lead nursing staff, coordinate with the interprofessional team, and mentor colleagues to advance professional growth in a dynamic pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• 2 years inpatient RN experience required.
• 3 years in an acute care inpatient unit preferred.
• RN experience with department-specific patient population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join our NEWEST unit at the American Family Children’s Hospital.
• Lead nursing staff and collaborate with the interprofessional team.
• Mentor others to grow professionally and advance knowledge and skills.
• Analyze and resolve problems that extend beyond the nurse clinician’s scope.
