UVA Health is seeking a Charge Nurse in Pediatric Infusion and Specialty Clinics to blend advanced clinical practice with frontline leadership, guiding a dynamic ambulatory team and coordinating care for children receiving infusion therapies and oncology treatments.

This role leads daily operations, mentors staff, ensures safe, high‑quality care, collaborates with physicians and pharmacists, and advances evidence‑based practice in a Magnet®-designated nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing or currently enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program to be completed within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia; BLS certification required.
• Experience as an RN clinician with leadership exposure or Charge Nurse experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead clinic operations, patient flow, staffing, and real-time problem solving.
• Deliver hands-on care including infusion administration and reaction monitoring.
• Coordinate care for pediatric patients undergoing cancer treatment and specialty therapies.
• Mentor nursing staff and promote evidence-based practice and safety.
