Job summary

Atrium Health Greater Charlotte is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our infusion center team. This role provides chemotherapy, transfusions, IV therapies, and supportive care to pediatric and adult patients in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing program, active RN license, and strong IV/central line skills; pediatric experience and BLS are required, PALS after hire; oncology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Current certification in BLS required; PALS to be obtained after hire.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Proficiency in IV and central line access and management preferred.
• APHON chemotherapy/biotherapy provider status prior to or obtained after hire
• CPHON certification preferred

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
