Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Cancer-Huntersville Clinic in Huntersville, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our ambulatory oncology and infusion team. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, evidence-based treatment in line with standards and policies.

The role requires completing an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in NC, BLS certification, and at least one year of nursing experience; oncology infusion experience is

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• One year of Nursing experience.
• Oncology Infusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.
