Job summary

Atrium Health Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation Pediatric Infusion Center in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a dedicated RN to join our infusion team. The role emphasizes nursing excellence, compassionate care, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Ideal candidates have pediatric experience, strong IV access skills, and willingness to obtain PALS after hire. Day shifts, with weekend requirements, 36 hours per week across 4-10 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Current certification in BLS required; PALS to be obtained after hire.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Proficiency in IV and central line access and management preferred.
• APHON chemotherapy/biotherapy provider status prior to or obtained after hire.
• CPHON certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and strong communication to ensure patient safety and optimal experiences across the continuum.
