Duke University Health System in Durham, NC seeks a dedicated registered nurse for a pediatric outpatient/infusion unit. The Valvano Day Hospital supports allergy/immunology, hematology/oncology, liver transplant clinics, and a 12-hour infusion unit with weekend coverage.

Requirements include a BSN/ADN or Nursing Diploma, NC RN license, BLS, and at least one year of nursing experience; nurses may progress to team leader roles and participate in quality initiatives in a fast-paced outpatient

Qualificações

Must have at least one year of nursing experience.
Graduation from an accredited BSN/ADN or Nursing Diploma program.
Current North Carolina RN license or compact license required.
BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care per physician orders.
Provide nursing services to patients and families within NC Board of Nursing scope.
Assess needs, tailor care plans, evaluate outcomes, adjust as needed.
Delegate tasks and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff.
Serve as team leader or charge nurse when assigned.
Maintain a safe care environment and participate in quality initiatives.
