Job summary

Duke University Hospital's Children’s Health Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (CHC Level 2/3) in Durham, NC. This on-site role focuses on pediatric outpatient care across CHC and Lenox Baker, with standard M-F schedules and nursing leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

1 year of nursing experience required.
Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
Current NC RN license or compact license to practice in NC.
BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Plan, provide, supervise, and document professional nursing care per orders and policies.
Deliver pediatric nursing services and education to patients and families.
Delegate and supervise licensed/unlicensed staff and act as team leader as assigned.
Monitor environment and equipment; initiate corrective actions when needed.
Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
