Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC, seeks an RN for the Infusion Clinic 2A. This part-time, on-site position supports infusions and injections for a range of conditions and offers opportunities to work with a dedicated team in a Magnet-designated health system.

The role emphasizes professional nursing care, leadership when assigned, and ongoing development. Requires BSN or higher, NC or compact license, and BLS; twelve months of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher).
• Enrollment in BSN program if no BSN within two years; completion within seven years of start date.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care per physician orders.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed/unlicensed staff.
• Act as team leader or charge nurse for a group of patients or unit.
• Monitor and maintain environment of care and equipment.
• Support professional development and precept new staff.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
