NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County seeks a Pediatrician specialized in Pediatric Infectious Disease. The role oversees inpatient consults and ambulatory care for Pediatric ID conditions, while supporting the Pediatric Hospitalist team and teaching students and residents.

Academic appointment at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University may be offered based on experience, with opportunities for research and leadership within PAGNY and the Kings County pediatric division.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatric Infectious Disease.
• Board Certification in Pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inpatient consults for Pediatric Infectious Disease (1 in 3) at Kings County.
• Conduct ambulatory care sessions for Pediatric Infectious Disease conditions.
• Support Pediatric Hospitalist team as needed.
• Provide education and training to medical students, residents, and hospital staff.
• Academic appointment at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University available commensurate with experience.
• Report to the Chair of Pediatrics with mentorship and growth opportunities.
