Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging for pediatric patients and support safe, high-quality care within a multidisciplinary team. No minimum experience required; ARRT Radiography credential and BLS certification within 30 days are required; pediatrics experience is preferred.

This on-site role at our Atlanta campus involves weekend shifts, with start times including 7:00 AM as part of the schedule, and a commitment to patient

Qualifications

• No minimum experience required.
• ARRT approved educational program completed.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• Pediatrics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates modality-specific imaging equipment and manages image workflow.
• Provides radiologists with patient history and obtains informed consent.
• Assists radiologists with contrast media administration.
• Ensures accurate billing for radiology procedures.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses and staff to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Contributes to quality improvement initiatives and adheres to accreditation standards.
