Qualifications

• PALS and APHON certifications are preferred; ACLS preferred.
• Strong teamwork and accountability for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, and care team regarding status and plan of care.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation technologies for safety.
• Document patient assessments and care plans in the electronic system at the point of care.
• Provide patient and family education to optimize health outcomes and disease management.
• Assist with discharge planning to ensure safe transitions of care.
