The position requires an NJ nursing license, BLS/CPR within 60 days, ACLS, and at least 2 years of critical care experience. BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within three years, and a strong commitment to teamwork and patient-centered

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required.
• A minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Strong teamwork and accountability for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and health care team.
• Medication administration with bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Point-of-Care electronic documentation of assessments and care plans.
• Patient and family education to optimize health and disease management.
• Discharging patients to ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care.
• Ensure compliance with NJ licensing and clinical standards.
