Job summary

Chestnut Dental Associates in Needham, MA is seeking a compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric team. You will provide preventive hygiene care for children from toddlers to college students and help them feel comfortable in the dental chair.

We offer competitive pay of $50–$66 per hour, a $3,000 signing bonus for full-time, flexible scheduling, and a collaborative, supportive environment. RDH license and BLS/CPR are required; pediatric experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive hygiene care for pediatric patients including cleanings and radiographs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized clinical environment adhering to OSHA/HIPAA.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately.
• Help children feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair.
• Educate patients and families about oral hygiene and cavity prevention.
• Build trusting relationships with patients and caregivers.
• Collaborate with pediatric dentists, assistants, and hygienists to deliver coordinated care.
• Contribute to a welcoming clinical environment where teammates support one another.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA standards
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
• Help children feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair
• Educate patients and families about oral hygiene, nutrition, and cavity prevention
• Build trusting relationships with patients and caregivers
• Partner with pediatric dentists, assistants, and hygienists to deliver coordinated care
• Contribute to a welcoming clinical environment where teammates support one another

Who We’re Looking For (Required)

• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
