Job summary

Chestnut Dental Associates in Needham, MA is seeking a compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric team. You will work with children from toddlers to college students, building lasting relationships and promoting healthy habits in a collaborative, team-focused practice.

Qualifications

• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with pediatric patients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive hygiene care, including cleanings, radiographs, fluoride treatments, and assessments.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA standards.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately.
• Help children feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair.
• Educate patients and families about oral hygiene, nutrition, and cavity prevention.
• Build trusting relationships with patients and caregivers.
• Partner with pediatric dentists, assistants, and hygienists to deliver coordinated care.

Who We’re Looking For (Required)

• Current BLS/CPR certification
