Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join the inpatient pediatric service in Mattoon, Illinois. The position offers a ~5-on / 10-off block schedule with flexible inpatient and call rotation.

You will provide comprehensive coverage for pediatric inpatients, round on well newborns, and support Level II neonatology services. Start date is January 2027, with a focus on high-quality care and collaborative teamwork.

Formación

• MD/DO from an accredited US medical school or international equivalent.
• Completed an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics residency; Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Pediatrics or Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license (or eligible for state licensure).
• NRP, DEA registration, CSR, and PALS certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct inpatient medical management for pediatric admissions, nursery care, and Level II neonatology patients.
• Perform routine newborn examinations and manage infants needing neonatology support.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitations per protocols.
• Provide pediatric consultations for the ED and surgical services.
• Stabilize critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients and coordinate transfers.
• Conduct daily inpatient rounds, manage admissions and discharges, and handoffs to outpatient pediatricians.
• Maintain EHR documentation and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
