Your Talent Team in Mattoon, Illinois seeks a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our inpatient pediatric service on a ~5-on / 10-off block schedule, with a January 2027 start.

You will provide comprehensive inpatient care for pediatric inpatients, newborn rounds, and neonatology support for Level II nursery. Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics and Illinois license are required; NRP, PALS, DEA, and CSR certifications are essential. Competitive compensation and benefits.

Formación

• Graduate of US medical school or international equivalent with pediatric residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Pediatrics or Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license or eligible for licensure.
• NRP, DEA registration, CSR, and PALS certifications required; familiarity with Level II neonatology.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct inpatient medical management for pediatric inpatients and nursery care, including Level II neonatology patients.
• Attend high‑risk deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitations per protocol.
• Provide pediatric consultations for ED and surgical services; stabilize and coordinate transfers when needed.
• Maintain daily rounds, manage admissions/discharges, and ensure clear handoffs to outpatient teams.
• Document in EHR and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
