Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a respected hospice provider in the DFW Metroplex to recruit a Pediatric RN Case Manager who will deliver compassionate hospice care to children in their homes. This field-based role involves coordinating all aspects of pediatric care with an interdisciplinary team.

You will perform pediatric assessments, develop care plans, guide Hospice Aides and LVNs, and participate in on-call rotations, ensuring safe, dignified care for every child and family served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, ADN, or BSN Nursing program.
• Active Texas RN license.
• Minimum one year of pediatric RN experience in a clinical setting.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric assessments.
• Develop and document care plans for each child.
• Coordinate with families, physicians and the care team.
• Provide clinical guidance to hospice aides and LVNs.
• Complete pediatric admissions and schedule prioritization.
• Participate in on-call rotations for emergencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and infection control.
• Support ongoing quality improvement and professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a respected hospice provider in the DFW Metroplex, seeking a compassionate Pediatric RN Case Manager to provide exceptional hospice care to children and their families in the comfort of their homes.

Reporting to the Managing Director - Hospice, the Pediatric RN Case Manager, will provide skilled nursing care to pediatric hospice patients while coordinating all aspects of their care.

Working alongside an interdisciplinary team, physicians, and community partners, you’ll help ensure every child receives compassionate, dignified, and personalized care.

Schedule: Full-Time

What You’ll Do Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical, psychosocial, and environmental patient assessments
• Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the care team
• Provide clinical guidance to Hospice Aides and LVNs and assist with training as needed
• Complete pediatric admissions and prioritize patient scheduling
• Participate in assigned on-call rotations for emergency patient support
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with infection control and agency policies
• Support ongoing quality improvement and professional development
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, ADN, or BSN Nursing program
• Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum one (1) year of pediatric RN experience in a clinical setting required
• Hospice, Critical Care, or Emergency Room experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• Current TB testing and Hepatitis consent/declination documentation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
