Job summary

Pediatric Home Service, Inc. in Richardson, TX, is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support pediatric patients at home. The role runs 8am–5pm with on-call rotation and involves loading, delivering, and setting up durable medical equipment, plus training families on safe operation in the home.

You will perform home environmental assessments, complete required documentation, and coordinate with physicians to ensure timely care for medically complex children.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Associate degree (healthcare related) or equivalent.
• Familiarity with medical documentation systems.
• Ability to use navigation systems and follow maps.

Responsibilities

• Loads, delivers, and sets up durable medical equipment, oxygen and supplies in patients' homes as instructed.
• Demonstrates equipment operation by instructing use of home medical equipment.
• Ensures a safe patient environment related to equipment.
• Completes follow-up visits for non-clinical respiratory patients.
• Conducts Home Environmental Assessments for oxygen patients.
• Assists patients in resolving equipment-related problems.
• Completes necessary paperwork and required documentation.
• Exchanges equipment due for maintenance.
• Sets up and coordinates diagnostic studies and ensures delivery to physician.
• Responds to emergency calls with clinical backup as needed.
