Job summary

MedCare Pediatric in Texas is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat children in their homes. You will address speech, language, feeding and swallowing needs while building strong relationships with families.

Flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and PRN options, plus a sign-on bonus for full-time caseloads. Ideal candidates have a relevant SLP degree, Texas license or eligibility, and pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license, or eligible to obtain licensure by the anticipated start date
• One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• Experience supervising assistants is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's needs
• Provide speech therapy services addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing skills
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support growth
• Educate families and caregivers on strategies to promote carryover at home
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, high-quality care
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
