Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver one-on-one evaluation and therapy in children’s homes across Texas. You will assess speech, language, feeding and swallowing needs and craft individualized treatment plans in a flexible schedule that supports work-life balance.

The role emphasizes pediatric care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Texas licensure as SLP or eligibility by start date.
• Experience with pediatric patients preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Supervising assistants experienced preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for each child.
• Provide speech therapy addressing communication, articulation, language, feeding and swallowing.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans for continued growth.
• Educate families on carryover strategies for home.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
