Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy in children’s homes, daycares, and schools. Flexible scheduling includes FT, PT, and PRN options, with a focus on quality patient care and work-life balance.

The PTA will work under a licensed PT, implement treatment plans, educate families, and maintain thorough documentation, all within a collaborative, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current Texas PTA license, or eligible to obtain licensure by start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans to improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.
• Educate families on therapeutic exercises, positioning, mobility techniques, and home programs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
