Job summary

A New Hope Home Care is seeking compassionate pediatric nurses to join our locally owned team. You will provide one-on-one care in clients' homes, manage trach/vent support, administer medications, monitor vitals, and partner with families to help children thrive.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in North Carolina.
• Current CPR certification (we’ll provide if needed).
• Passion for pediatric/home care and a warm, professional demeanor.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Reliable transportation to patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one pediatric home care for clients with medical complexities (trach/vent, tubes, etc.).
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Perform trach/vent care and management.
• Monitor and assess physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Document care accurately and timely; educate families.

What You’ll Do

• Provide skilled one-on-one care for pediatric clients with medical complexities (trach, vent, tube feeding, seizures, infusions, etc.)
• Administer medications and treatments
• Perform trach/vent care and management
• Monitor and assess physical, psychological, and social needs
• Document care accurately and timely
• Educate and support families
• Assist with ADLs as needed

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in North Carolina
• Current CPR certification (we’ll provide if needed)
• Passion for pediatric/home care and a warm, professional demeanor
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Reliable transportation
