Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital's Dialysis Unit seeks an RN to provide dialysis care from neonates to adolescents, across inpatient units, ICUs, and the chronic outpatient setting.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in nursing, Massachusetts RN license, and at least 1 year of RN experience (dialysis experience preferred). The position is full-time with 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Saturday, plus on-call overnight and rotating Sunday coverage.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.N.) is required.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience is required.
• Dialysis experience preferred (adult or pediatric), inpatient pediatric experience preferred.
• Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities

• Work in a busy and highly regulated Dialysis Program for a patient population from infants to adolescents.
• Provide dialysis care across inpatient units, ICUs, and chronic outpatient unit.
• Educate patients and families about dialysis care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (dietitians, social workers, child life specialists, pharmacy, etc.) to coordinate care.
