Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse for our Outpatient Hemodialysis clinic in Phoenix.

The clinic opens 6 AM - 5 PM and supports multiple patients daily; nurses provide education and direct patient care in a fast-paced, team-based setting. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of dialysis experience, or 2 years of RN inpatient experience, or 1 year RN with HD CCHT experience; Fresenius 2008 T machine experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Two year ADN or BSN or Diploma in Nursing required
• BSN degree preferred or RN-to-BSN ongoing
• Current AZ RN license or compact-state license before start date
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider before start date

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments appropriate to patient age and condition.
• Document patient progress in charts and communicate with team.
• Supervise care activities and provide feedback to ensure patient safety.
• Provide orientation and training to students and new staff.
• Collaborate with care team and family to implement care plans.
• Participate in rounds and care conferences as appropriate.
