Job summary

Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, FL seeks a Registered Nurse (Hem/Onc) for a full-time night shift (7P-7A). The role supports pediatric hematology/oncology care, delivering high-quality, family-centered nursing in a 100-bed hospital with a 24-hour pediatric ED.

Responsibilities include implementing the patient care delivery model, applying policies and evidence-based practice, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to advocate for patients and families.

Qualifications

ASN required.
Active Florida or multi-state RN license.
National certification in area of clinical specialty (preferred).
Minimum of 6 months RN experience; pediatric specialty preferred.
Ideal candidate will be APHON Chemotherapy provider and have experience in pediatric hematology/oncology.

Responsibilities

Implement the patient care delivery model for the patient and family.
Utilize policies, procedures, guidelines, and reliable methods to make clinical practice decisions.
Independently develop, implement, evaluate, and modify clinical practice with nursing skills.
Collect and interpret complex patient data to meet patient and family needs.
Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration and delegate to other clinicians with evidence-based guidelines.
