Responsibilities

• The Charge Nurse implements the patient care delivery model for the patient and their family.
• Use policies, procedures, guidelines to make clinical practice decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Facilitate timeliness of admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Mentor and precept staff as needed.
