Job summary

Nemours is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Resident for the 5 West Hematology/Oncology/Transplant and Cellular Therapy Unit in Wilmington, DE. The schedule includes 60 hours per pay period with opportunities to become full-time, plus 12-hour night shifts, holiday work, and every third weekend.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required, with BSN preferred and Delaware licensure (or compact). AHA Provider card is required; PALS should be obtained within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
• BSN is preferred for this unit.
• Eligible for Delaware State license (or compact license).
• AHA Healthcare Provider Certification is required.
• PALS is optional but must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care as part of an inter-professional team.
• Competent in care of endocrine, hematology/oncology, transplant, and cellular therapy patients, including chemo/biotherapy.
• Complete required certifications within one year of hire.
