Job summary

Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, FL seeks a Registered Nurse (Hem/Onc) for full-time day shifts (7A-7P). The nurse will provide direct pediatric hematology/oncology care, administer treatments, monitor patient status, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centered care.

The ideal candidate will hold an ASN, an active Florida RN license, and have 6 months of RN experience, preferably in pediatrics, with preferred chemotherapy certification.

Qualifications

• ASN professional nursing degree required.
• Active Florida or multi-state RN license required.
• Minimum of 6 months RN experience; pediatric experience preferred.
• APHON chemotherapy/biotherapy provider certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric hematology/oncology patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatments.
