Qualifikationen

• MD, DO (or foreign equivalent) required.
• Completion of a 4th-year training in heart failure and transplant is required.
• Board certified or eligible (or foreign equivalent) in Pediatric Cardiology.

Aufgaben

• Manage acute decompensated heart failure, cardiogenic shock, chronic cardiomyopathy, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplant care.
• Read and interpret echocardiograms and manage VADs/ECMO.
• Outpatient and inpatient cardiology care with transplant evaluation and follow-up.
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, critical care, nurses, social workers, nutritionists and pharmacists.
• Participate in service line leadership and quality improvement.
