The Division of Cardiology at the University of Washington invites applications for a heart failure cardiologist faculty position, open rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) with a 12-month appointment at UW Medical Center. Start date December 1, 2026, full-time, renewable.

The successful candidate will provide clinical care in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and cardiac transplant, and will contribute to teaching and research within a diverse academic community.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board certified/eligible in cardiovascular diseases and eligible for Washington licensure.
• Strong clinical skills in managing end-stage heart failure and transplant patients.
• Demonstrated record of research and publication.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in inpatient and outpatient settings focused on advanced heart failure, MCS and transplant.
• Engage in teaching with fellows and mentor trainees in a diverse academic community.
• Contribute to research, scholarship and service through UW Medicine.
