Job summary

Phoenix Children’s Division of Cardiology is seeking up to 3 full-time faculty to join the Advanced Heart Failure – Cardiac Transplant Team at the level of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics and Child Health. There is potential to become Director of Mechanical Circulatory Support based on experience.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree required with ABP board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology and state licensure in Arizona.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited 3-year Pediatric Cardiology fellowship, plus 1–2 years of subspecialty training in pediatric advanced heart failure and transplant.
• Not currently accepting J1 visa candidates.

Responsibilities

• Join the Advanced Heart Failure – Cardiac Transplant Team as a full-time faculty member at Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics and Child Health.
• Provide patient care for pediatric heart failure and transplant patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Engage in clinical and/or translational research and participate in teaching fellows, residents, medical students, and nurses.
