University of Washington Department of Pediatrics, Division of Cardiology, seeks candidates for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, starting July 1, 2027. Qualifications

• Commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community.
• MD/DO or foreign equivalent and board certification in pediatric cardiology are required.
• Licensure in Washington or eligibility for licensure is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage acute decompensated heart failure, cardiogenic shock, chronic cardiomyopathy, VADs and ECMO.
• Read and interpret transthoracic echocardiography.
• Oversee care of transplant candidates and heart transplant recipients.
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, critical care, nurses, pharmacists, and other specialties.
• Engage in teaching, research and service as part of UW faculty.
• Contribute to quality improvement and regulatory activities.
