Job summary

Apploi is seeking a highly relational Business Development Specialist to expand our healthcare referral network across a Denver-area territory. You will build and nurture professional referral sources, particularly with pediatric and family-health providers, hospitals, and health systems.

You will generate qualified patient referrals, document activity in CRM, and collaborate with intake teams to move referrals through the process.

Qualifications

Five+ years of healthcare business development or physician-relations experience.
Proven success turning professional relationships into patient referrals.
Experience with pediatric or children's health is a plus.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage a territory and a referral pipeline.
Willingness to travel within assigned territory and beyond as needed.

Responsibilities

Build, manage, and grow a strategic network of referral sources in your territory.
Develop relationships with pediatricians, hospitals, health systems, and other child-and-family providers.
Identify new referral opportunities and create territory plans to develop them.
Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with referral partners and educate them on services and intake processes.
Document every referral and follow-up activity in the organization’s systems.
Monitor referred patients through intake and authorization, and collaborate with internal teams.
Plan and participate in community events to raise awareness and generate referrals.
