Job summary

Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking an Occupational Therapist II to provide evaluation, treatment, follow-up, and documentation for inpatients and outpatients. The role includes mentoring interns and aides and offering family-centered care and education to families within pediatric hand therapy and orthopedics.

The position is a 1.0 FTE, 40 hours/week role in Broomfield, with shifts Monday–Friday up to 10 hours. Requires hand/upper-extremity experience and OT licensure in Colorado.

Qualifications

• BS in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Two years of professional OT experience; hand and upper extremity experience required.
• Current Licensure: Occupational Therapist Registered Colorado; Basic Life Support for Providers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with families, physicians, schools, and other providers to ensure continuum of care for the child.
• Completes written documentation in accordance with department standards.
• Evaluates children birth to 21 years old in inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Supports departmental financial targets and participates in professional development.
