Job summary

Children's Hospital Colorado seeks an Occupational Therapist II for inpatient and/or outpatient pediatric care, including evaluation, treatment, and family education. The role supports interns and therapy aides, with ongoing mentorship from senior staff.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of pediatric OT experience, feeding/swallowing expertise, and will participate in a CAP career advancement track while contributing to education and research initiatives at the department.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience as an occupational therapist required.
• Continued education in feeding, swallowing, and neurodevelopmental diagnoses/movement disorders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with family, physicians, schools, and other providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Completes written documentation per department standards.
• Evaluates children birth to 21 years old in inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Assists in achieving departmental financial targets.
• Demonstrates professional behaviors and participates in development activities.
• Treats children with diverse diagnoses and seeks mentoring for complex cases.
