The role spans the Trauma Acute Care Surgery and Pediatric Specialty Service with rounds, orders, and patient education, collaborating with surgeons, intensivists, and residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant program.
• Current NP license or PA licensure with prescriptive privileges.
• ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required or within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care at CHCO for Pediatric General Surgery.
• Perform rounds, write orders, and progress notes.
• Manage consults, discharges, education, and care coordination.
• Collaborate with surgeons, emergency medicine, intensivists, and residents.
• Provide care in ICU, acute care areas, and outpatient clinics.
