Fellows rotate through Children’s Hospital Colorado sections, providing patient care under supervision and engaging in teaching, quality improvement, and research activities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APAP approved Physician Assistant Training Program.
• Colorado license will be required prior to start date.
• ACLS and PALS certification will be required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Rotates through general ward pediatrics, pediatric intensive care unit, pulmonary, oncology, cardiology and electives.
• Gathers pertinent information from history, tests, and physical examinations.
• Communicates patient information to on-call attending physician and team.
• Daily rounds with attending physicians and care teams to plan and evaluate patient care.
