Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a full-time, benefitted position at Sheridan Health Services in southwest Denver. Qualifications

• Graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current board certification as a PNP.
• Current RN, RXN, and APN licensures in good standing (any state).
• Must have CO licensures by date of hire; could be working toward CO licenses.
• Demonstrated leadership and collaboration with academic colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provides acute and chronic primary care for the clinic's pediatric population.
• Performs full scope of NP duties: exams, diagnosis, evaluation, treatment; refer to specialists as needed.
• Delivers culturally and linguistically appropriate services in a diverse setting.
• Coordinates care with RN Case Managers, Referral Coordinators, Behavioral Health, and Pharmacy teams.
• Precepts and/or teaches health professions students; participates in on-call rotations.
• Maintains EHR documentation meeting established standards and completes notes timely.
