Allied Physicians Group in Medford, NY is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and manage check-in/out. The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year in a medical office (pediatric experience a big plus), and strong customer service skills.

AthenaOne EMR experience is a bonus; bilingual Spanish speakers are highly valued. This is a part-time role with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a medical office (pediatric experience is a big plus!).
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to multitask.
• Experience with EMR, especially AthenaOne, is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with warmth, answer phones, and help families feel at ease.
• Schedule appointments, verify insurance, and manage patient check-in and check-out.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure smooth office operations.
• Answer questions, assist with paperwork, and help keep things running efficiently.
• Work closely with providers and medical staff to support patient care.
