Job summary

Jeff Gordon Child Advocacy Center, a facility of Advocate Health Cabarrus, in Concord, NC, seeks an experienced RN to coordinate and deliver patient care for abused children. You will perform nursing duties, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support the continuum of care in a child advocacy setting.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing program certificate, an active RN license, BLS, and at least one year of nursing experience, plus a willingness to complete forensic

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Completion of forensic interviewer training within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process.
• Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes and take action as needed.
• Conduct forensic interviews with alleged victims or witnesses of abuse.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, child protective services, medical professionals, and social workers.
• Participate in trainings on trauma-informed care and legal protocols.
