Job summary

Advocate Health’s Jeff Gordon Child Advocacy Center in Concord, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate compassionate care for child patients, performing the nursing process and ensuring safety and quality throughout the patient journey.

The role requires an accredited nursing program, valid RN license in the state, BLS certification, and at least one year of nursing experience, plus the ability to complete forensic interview training within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Completion of a Forensic Interviewer Certification, or willingness to complete training within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead in creating a safe patient environment and high-quality experiences.
• Continuously evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes and take action.
• Conduct forensic interviews with alleged victims or witnesses of abuse, maintaining neutrality.
