Job summary

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the 8 Pediatrics unit. The role is 24 hours per week, day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with rotating weekends and holiday coverage.

The unit is a 28-bed pediatric acute care setting with a strong team focus on family-centered care. Required: at least 1 year of RN experience, pediatric experience preferred, current RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN experience required
• At least 1 year of pediatrics experience highly preferred
• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
• Registered Nurse license in the practicing state is required and BLS certification is required

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and strong communication to ensure patient safety and quality experiences.
